Feb 1 - Out for a Walk

So after some pressure from unnamed sources I have finally decided to start a blog. I am hoping it will give family and friends who live far away a chance to stay connected with the boys. I meant to post this yesterday, Feb 1st, as my first blog but setting up the blog took a little longer than expected. Great start to the 365 day blogging - haha. Anyways we were a little lazy in the morning, Anth slept in and I just played with the boys, then we decided to take everyone for a walk.

Gavin is in the back and Carson in the front. Yes he is covered in a purple and pink blanket but he's comfortable with his masculinity so it's fine! The boys got this sleigh from their aunties and uncles on Anthony's side. They are finally starting to be able to actually sit upright while wearing their snow gear.

I love that Anthony's on shift work now. It definitely gives us more family time and it's great that we will both be off during the week together to do stuff with the boys and beat the weekend rush. He often gets a chance to sleep 5-7 hrs during his night shifts (which I am totally jealous of) which allows him to be up with us for most of the next day. He is still on flex right now - meaning he can get called into work at anytime and that he has an irregular schedule. It's OK right now but once I am back to work (Feb 15th) it'll be a little more difficult. Thank goodness for family!!!

Of course our crazy mutts were with us on the walk as well. The boys absolutely LOVE the dogs. Anytime the dogs even go near them they just start giggling! The dog bed is another thing - anytime they can get on that gross thing they are squealing and laughing and burying their heads into the dog bed. I absolutely HATE when they get on there because they are covered in hair by the time they are done. A few other things that the boys have gotten into and LOVED that I HATE are the dog food, the dog water and the TOILET!!! UGH!!

After the walk we just hung out at home with the boys. Dinner, bath, bottle, playtime, bed. They are usually so good in the evenings. Evenings and mornings are my favorite times with them. Well I guess that's the end of my first blog. Here's to hoping I can keep this up!
