Feb 12 - Two Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

Today was pretty low key which was nice since the drama with Carson the past few days. We did a lot of playing, a little cleaning and some lounging. The countdown to going back to work is also on - I'm back on Monday! - so I don't feel so bad just relaxing at home for my last few days. I'm feeling a little excited but also a little sad. It'll be nice to get out of the house a bit more but I don't REALLY want to leave the boys. I'll definitely miss them while I'm away for 12hrs at a time :( I'm sure it won't take long to get used to being away and the boys will be with family which is great.

I didn't get much of an opportunity to take many pictures today. The camera battery needed recharging and honestly we didn't really do too much today anyways. I did manage to catch the boys (as usual) playing on the dog bed. I don't understand why they like it so much but when we're just hanging out at home for the day I don't mind, even though they get covered in dog hair.

This evening Anth and I watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics and the boys just played with their toys. It's so nice when they entertain themselves!! It was definitely a downer to hear about the poor guy who just passed away and kind of heartbreaking to watch the accident. He was only 21 and his life was over in an instant!! Crazy!!
