This morning Anth was up early to go snowboarding with a few friends from work and my mom was coming over to babysit in the afternoon so I could go to an eye appt and hair appt. After the boys had breakfast I had some e-mails to send out for work and I ended up in the computer room for a while. I could hear the boys playing and was thinking "aww they're being so good". I swear that every time I think that SOMETHING bad is happening. I came out of the computer room to find almost an entire box of Kleenex spread out over the floor. Gavin is the only one in the picture but don't be fooled Carson had a hand in this as well - it just so happened that I had put him down for his morning nap before I took the pictures.
I had such a relaxing afternoon out and about. As much as I love my kids it's definitely nice to get out by yourself (and I'm pretty sure that almost every single parent would agree with me). Anth was home from boarding by the time I got home and we just had a relaxing evening watching TV (Grey's and Private Practice of course!) and playing with the boys. Oh and I also called the pediatric floor and so far no growth from Carson's blood culture so I pulled the heplock :)
Both boys were in such funny, happy moods this evening. We took a pic of Cars peeking at us around the chair. What a character!
Glad to hear about the negative culture! I came back to Peds after work to see how you guys were, but they were starting the heplock at the time and all I could hear was Cars screaming bloody murder - so I thought I'd talk to you another time!!!
ReplyDeleteYa it took 4 pokes~! It's his chubby little arms and hands - you can't see any veins!! He's doing so well now - back to being happy most of the time :)
