Feb 2 - Playing with Spoons

Anthony woke me up today right after breakfast with a very smiley Gavin. I LOVE waking up to the boys. They are so happy in the morning. Right away I got up and created my blog!! The boys went for a nap after playing downstairs for a while and after nap time, playtime! Although my boys have more toys than they could ever ask for some of their favorite toys include kitchen utensils!!

I don't know why but I think it's so cute when the boys dig in their toy box. I guess it's because they seem so grown up!!!

Emma and I went to brew some wine at Hobby Brews in the afternoon and left the boys with Anth for a couple hours. I got home to 2 naked babies - apparently there had been a poo incident!! haha Glad I wasn't home for that one! Anth snapped this shot of the boys harrassing Mav - as I said before they LOVE Mav and they LOVE his bed. Too bad Mav hates it when anyone is on his bed - sorry buddy!!

Carson clapped for the first time today!!! He was a few days behind Gavin but it was so cute! I was trying to read a book (a little difficult with both boys awake) and Carson was getting a little whiny so I thought I would try to turn the TV on to Treehouse. I didn't think they would really pay attention because we never really put any shows on for them but they both stood at the table dancing and clapping! Priceless! It's moments like those that I do love having twins.

The boys also discovered the water cooler today. It's the first time they've even shown any interest and now I'm sure they will be at it constantly. Today it was kind of cute but tomorrow....not so much!! I snapped a picture of my devious little boys :)

Right after this Anth and I went to play volleyball - we are on a team that plays at the YMCA every Tuesday evening. Mostly people that work at the hospital, including Amy and Lorne. Papa (my dad) came over to babysit. The boys LOVE him. As soon as he walks in the door they start laughing because they know that the entertainment is about to begin. Report from Papa was great - boys were in bed by the time we got home and we won our first match!!! YAY team!
